LADY ART / AZELLE SANTA ANA PHOTO SHOOT
Today was a ridiculously LONG DAY! My girl Azelle and I put a photo shoot together last minute that we are going to use for our marketing. We had no idea what we were going to do, my friend Dee (model) came over and Azelle (Hair) and I (make-up, alana) went to work. But we couldn't do it without our wonderful photographer Jesse. You can see a sneak peak of the shoot below.

Covering up dark under eye circles
This is something that I do to every client of mine, I cover up their dark circles. The 3 products up top are the only things you need to get the right coverage. Fast Response, Studio Finish Concealer, and Mineralize Skin Finish Powder.
1st you want to start by apply the Fast Response all over your eye lid. This will smooth the area out so it doesn't look too cakey.
2ND you want to apply a studio finish concealer (this is a full coverage concealer), I prefer to use an NW, it has a pink undertone which will cancel out the dark circles under your eyes.
Last you want to set it with mineralize skin finish powder, it wont make your under eyes look packed with make-up. It gives you a satin finish. You'll notice the difference if you try to use studio fix powder instead.

SO.... I don't know if you all heard but MAC is opening 3 brand NEW STORE locations Montclair mall, Cerritos mall, and in Riverside. I know that this is going to help so many people out. For all of you that have MAC pro cards and drove all the way to the OC or LA just to grab a couple things you don't have to make it an all day event anymore.
The stores may open as soon as MAY 1st. I will give you an exact date soon. :)
APPLYING EYE SHADOW FOR YOUR EYE SHAPE.
CLOSE SET EYES:
- Use a highlight for your brow bone good colors would be something like nylon, rice paper or for darker skin tones motif (MAC colors) is really pretty to use
- Apply a high light color on the inner corner of your eyes.
- Use a darker crease color only on the outter corner of your eyes.
WIDE SET EYES:
- Use darker colors on the INNER corner of your eyes and blend towards the middle.
-DONT use dark crease colors, this will actually emphasize your deep set eyes.
NO CREASE:
- I love apply shadow to these eyes. You can do a nice smokey look but apply a dark color all over the bottom half of the lid and it goes lighter up to the brow bone.
- Focus on your lash line.
- Try not to make a crease, it tends to look unnatural in upcoing post I can show you how to make a crease.
ROUND EYES:
- DONT use eyeliner on your water line, this will make your eyes look rounder.
- Using darker colors on the outter corner of your eyes makes the eyes look a little longer.
SMALL EYES:
- Try not to use dark colors, this will make your eyes look smaller.
- If you do want to use color, try to use colors like texture, swiss chocolate. still will contour your eye without them looking to small.

Yellow and Orange Tutorial
I know I posted the picture up awhile back but, I've been so busy!!! 4 month old baby and he is sick! But getting much better :)
Anyway, for the bright orange and yellow tutorial this is what you are going to need.
Base:
Yellow Scream (MAC cream base Pro store only)
Eye Shadows:
Chrome Yellow (MAC)
Evening Aura (you can use paradisco MAC)
Orange (MAC)
Eye Liner
Beelicious (MAC PRO STORE)
Mascara
Plush (MAC)
227
224
217
214
STEP1:
Apply evening aura or paradisco right below your brow bone for the highlight using your 217 brush.
STEP 2:
Place Yellow Scream cream base on the bottom half of your eyelid with your finger.
STEP3:
With your 227 brush or any other flat brush, pack on chrome yellow eye shadow right on top of your cream base.
STEP 4:
With your 224 brush apply Orange shadow on the outter corner of your crease and blend towards the middle. MAC shadows have a lot of pigmentation so you'll get a lot of color.
STEP 5:
With the 217 brush apply evening aura right in the middle of chrome yellow and orange, so it will be on the center of your eyelid. This makes your eye shadow look perfectly blended.
STEP 6:
Next, place beelicious eyeliner on your water line.
STEP 7:
Using beelicious eyeliner out line below your water line, take your 214 brush with a bit of chrome yellow and blend.
STEP 8
Next apply Plush mascara, or any other mascara to both your top and bottom lashes.
FINAL LOOK!
TIPS ON APPLYING BLUSH
1. Your face must be clean, moisturized, and powdered. (if you don't wear powder, make sure your skin is not oily)
2. Your brushes must be clean, If your brushes are not clean you might be applying bacteria to your face, clean your brushes with something gentle, baby wipes, or MAC has some brush cleaner for only $10.
3. For a nice smooth effect, use a high light on your cheek bones. I like to use vanilla pigment from MAC.
4. Apply color to the apples of the check and brush only in one direction, if you go back and fourth, or around in circles with your brush the application wont be as smooth and it can also ruin your brush.
5. For mature skin use a cream blush, if you use powder blushes it may just give your wrinkles more attention.
