Kim Kardashian Makeup Tutorial

You Gotta love Keeping Up With The Kardashian, they are hilarious I can't wait for the new episodes set to air on November 8th, 2009. 

Anyway, my cousin loves, loves, loves kim, so for her birthday I took a pic of Mrs Kardashian and made her up! Below are the pics for the tutorial. 

STEP 1

apply rubenesque paint pot from MAC over your lid. 

STEP: 2

Take naked pigment from MAC and with a flat brush apply it all over your eyelid. 

STEP: 3

Take smut eye shadow from MAC and with a 224 brush(MAC) start at the corner of your eye and blend towards the center of your crease.

STEP: 4

To soften your eye shadow take a natural brown, Im using brown script from MAC and apply to your crease on top of the smut eye shadow.

STEP:5

Take black track and an angle brush from MAC and apply it over your top eye lid.

STEP: 6

-apply graph black eyeliner to your water line. 

-take a pencil brush , a couple swipes into smut eye shadow and follow you lower eye lid, to get the smokey look.

STEP: 7

finish it off by applying mascara or eye lashes. 

FINAL LOOK!

I lightened her eyes so you can compare the pic to Kims.

Base: Shimmersand shadestick from MAC

    apply this all over your lid. 

Eye shadow base: Pink Bronze Pigment MAC ( pink/copper)

Crease: Sketch (deep maroon)

Deep Crease: Carbon (matte black)

Highlight: Motif MAC (olden pink)

Eyeliner: Blacktrack

lashes: Individuals

Cheeks: Refined Golden Bronzer, with Pink bronze pigment highlight (copper pink)

Eye Brow Tutorial; Updated with video.

Hey guys a lot of you have been asking for me to do a video with my eyebrow tutorial. I updated my video on you tube and added a video showing you step by step how to shade in your brows. Enjoy!

Gold/Green Eyeshadow Combo

Okay so first off, I've been super busy the last week so I have not been able to post as much as I've wanted. but here are some photos of a color combo I love for the summer!

Base: Rubenisque (MAC)
1/2 Lower lid (inner corner): Goldmine (MAC)
1/2 Lower lid (outter corner): Olive Green Pigment (MAC)
Crease: texture
High Light: Motif

Again you dont have to use eye shadows from MAC you can use other shadows that are similar in color. NYX is more affordable and has great pigmentation. I use MAC colors b/c i love them but I have also worked there for years so I had the discount benefit :)

NOTE: you don't have to use MAC shadows, find shadows that are similar in color and you can use those. 

FACE

Start with a primer then apply your foundation in a circular motion around your face to even out you skin .

EYES

Base: I used cash flow from MAC but you can use any golden undertone base.

Lower lid- naked pigment

Crease:carbon/sketch mixed both together to give it a softer look

Highlight: Naked pigment (MAC) 

CHEEKS

 Apples of cheek- Peaches (any peachy matte color)

 Cheek bone- a shimmer bronzer

LIPS

 

 Lipstick- Brew ( any nude)

 Gloss- Oyster Girl ( soft nude pink)

Eye brows

So my friend sent me this picture, this is everything you DONT want to do to your eye brows. lol stay away from the sharpie. 

The correct way of shaping your brow to your face is this, the start of your eye brow should be lined up with the inner corner of your eye. The ending point of your brow should be diagonal from the outter corner of your eye. 

I did this eyebrow tutorial awhile back, I am going to update it but you can check it out below for now. 

Another day at the studio

So I shot another episode today for The Myspace Music Feed episodes with myspace princess Jordyn Taylor. You cant tell in the photo (I forgot my camera and took it with my phone) but I used pinks and purples on her eyes. Its not hard to do makeup on her, she's already gorgeous without it.

Lip Combo

So my friend brought this to my attention and loves the lip color so I'm going to share the lip combo with you all. 

Liner: Cherry MAC (of course!)

Lipstick: Morange

Gloss: Lychee Luxe (just a touch)

Beyonce Make-up Tutorial

Base: Rubenesque

Step 1: Apply Rubenesque all over the bottom half of your lid, for your eye shadow to last ALL day. I like to apply this with my fingers.

Eye Shadow:

MAC

Honesty

Texture

Rice Paper 

Step 2: Apply Honesty Directly on top of your base using a flat brush to pack on your shadow.

Step 2: Apply Texture to the crease of your eye.  Start at the outter corner and blend in, use a 224 brush from MAC. 

Step 3: Apply Rice Paper to your brow bone. Right below your eye brows, you can use a 217 brush.

Step 4: With a small blending brush apply rice paper right below your lower lash line. 

Eye Liners: Graph Black, Boot Black from MAC

Step 5: Apply Graph Black eye liner to your water line.

Step 6: Apply Boot Black eye liner to the top of your eye, start from the end of your eye and line to the middle and then do your inner corner and line to the middle. 

Step 7: Apply your Mascara or Lashes, mine are #3 lashes from MAC

Step 8: Apply your gloss and lip liner, this is cherry and russian red gloss.

So obviously I love to wear bright lipstick when I go out. I took my cousins from the PI out to H Wood last night and this is what I used for my mkeup.

Eyes:

Base- Pink Bronze Pigment-

MAC EYE SHADOWS

Goldmine- all over the bottom half of the lid

Sketch- inner and outter crease

Swiss Chocolate- to connect the inner and outter crease

Motif- highlight (right below your brow bone)
